Our intent in using Information and Communication Technology is that all children will enjoy using ICT and tackle appropriate applications with confidence and a sense of achievement; developing practical skills, being able to apply these skills to the solving of relevant and worthwhile problems and understanding the capabilities and limitations of ICT and the implications and consequences of its use. • The school’s intent is to: • Provide a relevant, challenging and enjoyable curriculum for computing for all pupils; • Meet the requirements of the national curriculum programmes of study for computing; • Enhance learning in other areas of the curriculum using computational skills; • Respond to new developments in technology; • Equip pupils with the confidence and capability to use ICT and computing throughout their later life; • Develop the understanding of how to use ICT and computing safely and responsibly.
