PTA
The AIS Parent Teacher Association (PTA) has a very active role working with the school and the community to ensure we achieve the best for our children's development.
Everyone who joins the school is automatically a member of the PTA. We encourage all parents, carers and extended family to get involved as much as they can. We understand that other commitments limit participation at times but any contribution big or small is greatly appreciated.
For example you can help raise money for the school every time you shop online. They convert commissions you generate into donations for Alexandra Infant School PTA.
Each class (Robin, Sparrow, Puffin, Penguin, Kingfisher, Owl, Flamingo, Toucan) has a class representative. The role of the class rep is to keep parents & carers informed of any events the PTA are organising and to encourage people to take part.
Our regular events include the Summer and Christmas Fair, Cake Sales, School Disco and a visit from the Easter Bunny.
The PTA Team will meet regularly throughout the year to plan events. If you would like to be involved please drop us an email or message on Facebook.
Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) is held in the school hall, everyone is invited to attend, this meeting reviews the finances of the PTA over the year and discusses ideas for the next year.
